In Massachusetts, preschool starts at age 2 years, 9 months old.  The Fox Hill school operates on a school-year schedule, so all children must turn 3 by December 31st of the year they start preschool.

Every child is unique! Signs of readiness include curiosity about other children, growing independence, and an interest in play and learning activities. We support each child’s transition into school at their own pace.

No. Massachusetts EEC–licensed programs cannot require children to be potty trained before attending. Potty training is a natural part of the preschool experience, and we work closely with families to support each child as they learn this important skill.
