Our world adventure continued as we packed our imaginary bags and "flew" to Italy, wrapped up our visit Down Under, and even unlocked the science behind one of nature's most magical sights. This year marks 30 years since I started Kids Incorporated, and it feels both humbling and joyful to reflect on the incredible journey it has been. Over the past three decades, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful families and playing a small part in helping their children grow, explore, and discover the world around them. Thank you for being part of this community and for trusting us with your children.

We had our first full week of school in what feels like forever! We were very busy learning all about China, celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday, transforming our dramatic play area into a classroom, and creating beautiful works of art.

This week at Fox Hill School was filled with travel, creativity, fine motor practice, friendship, and fun! From continuing our journey to France to celebrating the Olympics and Valentine’s Day, we were busy exploring the world in meaningful, hands-on ways.

This week at the Fox Hill School, we left the frigid continent of Antarctica and hopped on a super-fast jet to travel to France! Our tiny humans came up with the idea of going to this lovely country. They would like to know how people dress, what the weather is like, and if French people really do eat snails and frog legs!

This week, we completed our study of Antarctica, diving deep into this icy continent through books, sensory play, art, and hands-on exploration. This engaging unit supported early learning across literacy, fine motor development, science, and creative expression.

This week was a wonderful example of how integrated, play-based learning supports the whole child. Through reading, art, games, music, and cooking, we practiced critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration—skills that will serve us for years to come.

As we wrapped up our final week before Winter Break here at The Fox Hill School, our classrooms were full of excitement, creativity, and lots of holiday cheer. It was a fun week of learning and playing as we explored Hanukkah and Christmas together through stories, art, building, and play.

This week at Fox Hill School, we read some Thanksgiving and turkey books, to prepare us for the upcoming holiday! The children enjoyed hearing about family celebrations and special meals. We also talked about gratitude and what we are thankful for!

This week at Fox Hill School, we dove into We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger. The story follows a group of children who discover different kinds of leaves—and that each leaf belongs to a specific tree with its own fall color. This book is perfect for building early science skills. Preschoolers learn to observe, compare, classify, and make real-world connections—key components of early literacy and cognitive development.
